Aeration and over seeding is a recommended luxury service to improve turf performance. The core aerator removes roughly 1.5" plugs of soil to allow air, water and nutrients to better reach the roots and enhance turf performance and reduce soil compaction. The soil plugs naturally decompose in a few weeks. For best results cool season grass such as Fescue should be aerated & over seeded in the Fall (mid-October-Mid November). Early Spring is also a good time to aerate or seed thin areas in a Fescue lawn. Warm season grass ie. Bermuda, Zoysia or Centipede should only be aerated in mid/late Spring to allow seeds to germinate before summer heat arrives. Minimum Cost: $150
